lani renee’s holistic approach
A holistic approach that has no real boundaries, and encompasses the circle, or the cycle of one’s entire life. It can begin with the body and/or one’s practical reality, which honestly is where most people begin to seek. The body has a way to get one’s attention, and unfortunately the body talks pretty loudly when something physically is not right. Pain is a signal, that many relieve with medications. However, the root to the pain just doesn’t go away because the body is numb. Holistically, if the pain is addressed and the root causes are unveiled, the body, as a living, breathing, miraculous, and beautiful being, will know how to heal.
Lani is not a fan of pain! Doesn’t matter if it’s physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual pain… they work together, and these dimensions of self have to be addressed for deep and affective healing to occur. This is her “elemental” approach, and it is based on alternative healing disciplines and ancient sacred traditions, that have been lost and removed from modern day health care.
The body needs to be healthy, and active. The body craves motion, nutrition, and support. The body also desires rest and relaxation. It wakes up and goes goes goes, all day long, with really no say on how it is treated, or mistreated, so if anything, start with a little gratitude, and whole lot of self-love! And, book your “self” a massage!
The soul enters the body at birth when one takes their first breath, and the soul exists the body when the last breath is taken. Seems incredibly significant, while unbelievably ignored in the modern “sciences” of health & wellness. Though long ago, the soul was at the heart of a person, their family, tribe, community, and nation. So, what happened? We stopped breathing consciously and with curiosity… and became comfortable, though it should make one extremely uncomfortable with being told what to think, and therefore, having no reason to feel.
The holistic healing of a soul is a complex but magical journey, that reaches back into the past for clarity and understanding, while requiring one to be present, in order to ultimately sift through the story that limits and binds the soul from progressing and remembering the dream, or the vision of being here, to hopefully live out one’s mission in life! That is why we are all here…
Healing is truly an art, that has a beauty to it, and instead of defining it, the better approach is to experience it. Nature is healing. exercise & yoga are both healing. meditation is essential for healing. continuing to learn is healing, for knowledge leads one to the truth. Being creative is healing. Communication is required for healing. Even, play allows for deep healing. Breathwork, may be the most important aspect of a healing practice, considering the soul enters and exists at the beginning and end of life. So, breathe…. the soul is healing.
The body is centered within the soul, and together they are to be aligned with spirit. Not dogma, or disbelief. And, this takes a very long time to fully appreciate, unless we start teaching our youth the holistic ways of being, and living. A life without a spiritual connection, and/or instruction and guidance as to how to live out one’s vision is an absolute tragedy. Many seek advisors, psychics, or now, social media to tell then what to do. “Preaching vs. teaching” simply does not serve the human whole-being! It can be helpful in a pinch of moment, but the better road to travel would be to seek the essence of your spirit, or divine nature, and to dial in to your greater-wiser-holier-enlightened self!
Spirituality is sacred, and sacredness is an element missing in the world today. Without it, the loss of one’s will happens over time, and time is not something to waste in this life. There is religion, philosophy, and shamanism, and all three contribute to one’s spiritual experience. They each have many names, and many “men” have claimed them. Truth be told, religion means to worship. Philosophy is how the mind and heart begin to weave into a concept of “oneself” in order to make sense of being alive. And, shamanism is a way of life, a sacred way of respecting life that has been forgotten, and wiped out by the temptation to lean towards a crazy, unmeaningful, and insignificant life, in the midst of a toxic world.
Holistic spirituality is a choice, best seen in the photo above… the world is as it is, and we are the one’s who will change it, or not. Free will, is real! One cannot be bad, and good at the same time. Choose. Even if it means working on a computer and taking a moment to close your eyes and breathe… stop thinking and reflect. Connect to your higher self and say hello to your spirit… ask for a sign or for a few words of encouragement. Then, get back to your work, more creative, more centered, with the light as a guide, fulfilling your mind and your heart… for that is the magic of prayer.
